3BallMTY (pronounced “Tribal Monterrey“) is a Mexican pop DJ group from the city of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico. The “DJ Collective” (the name its members have formally given themselves) was formed in 2009 by two teenage DJs – Sergio Zavala (DJ Sheeqo Beat), and Alberto Presenda (DJ Otto). The name “3Ball” comes from the Spanish word “tribal”, which refers to the culture of Guaracha tribal music popular in many Spanish-speaking countries around the world. (wikipedia)
THE CHALLENGE
Clear channel had an event with no press coverage booked! VERIZON® presented: My Fabulous Quince in conjunction with KISS.FM radio. We were able to get a team member to the event to recap and package the entire event for press. We captured vendors, the radio sponsor, and the headline talent, 3BALL MIGHTY.

OUR APPOACH
To run & gun faster, we captured the event in 1080p with special cannon cameras that offer a great focal range with a solid television-standard f-stop. This allowed for us to deliver a very similar look to television coverage on typical red-carpet events in hollywood. The key, was being to provide this with less than 24 hours notice.
